Framework in Australia
In an email newsletter sent out earlier today, possibly only to those that have asked to be notified when Framework comes to Australia, the company shared the following message.
Thank you for showing your interest in having Framework available in Australia. The demand we have received has been incredible and we’re finalizing the infrastructure to make shipments possible. We’ll send you an update as soon as we open ordering.
As for a time frame for when we can expect to see the Framework Laptop and Framework Motherboard in Australia, we aren’t sure. Framework hasn’t said a specific date or time frame, but we expect it to be before the end of the year as the team look to only be finalising its logistics, suggesting everything else has been taken care of.
Perfect time to expand
Framework has timed its expansion perfectly. It recently released its 12th Gen Intel mainboards along with a number of other improved parts, including a stronger lid and stronger set of hinges.
We can’t wait to see how Framework does in Australia, with our large number of creators and tinkers, making the Framework platform the perfect starting point for new cases, expansion cards, and other wonderful and wacky creations.
We will be getting our hands on a mainboard, and printing a 3D printed case for it as soon as we can!
