GEEEK’s latest budget friendly acrylic case, the GEEEK C2 is now available to buy in Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia. The GEEEK C2 is an acrylic version of the G2 metal case from the company, which is still yet to be released.
The GEEEK C2 comes in at TW$1390/S$88/RM240 making it the perfect budget acrylic case for your next build. You also have the option to choose from a white or black case with clear perforated side panels, it doesn’t look like GEEEK will offer dark side panels.
While GEEEK has been slowly moving its focus on metal cases this release shows it’s still interested in the acrylic case market and will continue to produce low-cost acrylic cases for those that are interested in them.
The design
Unlike GEEEK’s other acrylic cases, this one follows the same curved design of GEEEK’s G series, giving it a more premium look without the addition of metal. Looking through the images it appears that the inside of the case has the same construction as the GEEEK G1 SE but with an acrylic outer shell. This is a smart decision as it allows GEEEK to produce one case frame across two different products and customise the outside without having to produce a whole new case.
On the front of the case there is a power button with a white light ring and a USB A 3.0 port. It’s great to see the inclusion of a USB port on the front of the case as the GEEEK G1 and G1 SE lacked this.
